Summary of the book "Mystery of the Blue Mines"

The book Mystery of the Blue Mines by author Kris Anderson tells the story of an investigation. The story takes place in Australia at the opal mining center, Arralooma. It begins the story with the death of the policeman named Andy, who was found lifeless near the mine. Steve was immediately sent by his boss to investigate the reasons for the death of the policeman. Upon reaching the scene, Steve went into a fight to defend an Aborigene named Eddie from a group of miners from the Blue Mine. Later, he discovers that Eddie is Aborigine's son who found the policeman Andy dead. His name is Moornie.
In Arralooma, several strange things happen to Steve. He tries to get an interview with the owner of Blue Mines, Mr. Duval, who refuses to talk to him. So Steve is chased and attacked by four men, but is saved by the local police. Steve, not content with the mystery of the mine, goes to the place (Blue Mines) and tries to enter, but the guard dogs force him to stop and return to the city. Steve becomes friends with Jim, who works at the Blue mines, and he resolves to help Steve in the mine. That night, Steve and Jim go to the mine and find a secret tunnel where they are not mining opals, but making a deadly nervous gas
At this moment, he discovers that the policeman died of nervous gas. Steve is scared by the discovery. At this moment there was a shooting inside the blue mine and Steve and Jim escape through a tunnel and are rescued by Liza, Moornie and Eddie. At this moment the police arrive and arrest the personnel of the Blue Mines. Steve discovers that Liza is also a cop and they decide to meet in Sydney.
